Wecome!
Temple Sinai Hebrew School would like to welcome you to the 2022–2023 school year. We are very excited to be utilizing a new concept in our educational experience called Experiential Learning. This approach incorporates hands-on activities along with participation in diverse events that foster knowledge. We have an entirely new staff and they are eager to roll out the program! We will also be focusing on using traditional and specialized approaches to teach Reading, Prayers, Torah Studies, and Jewish Values. The combined method will be comprehensive and engaging!
Our program caters to grades K-7 and also has options for Pre-K students, as well as teens who may be interested in receiving community service hours. With a focus on Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation we offer an inclusive and open congregation that fosters a sense of community and spirituality. Included are family Shabbats, Junior Congregations, youth group trips, family and community holidays, and temple-wide events for all.
With the addition of the Experiential Approach, we have streamlined the traditional program to one 3-hour in-person session on Sundays. There will also be community-wide engagements such as the Orange County Purim Festival, family Chanukah celebration, and other collaborations with various Orange County synagogues. Throughout the year we will be synchronizing our calendar to enable student participation in many of the Jewish Federation’s groups such as PJ Play and JOY (Jewish Orange Youth group).
Your child will be “Living Judaism Through Experience”. Sign up for the 2022-2023 school year and come experience our Jewish community!
