KADIMA
Kadima is a youth organization open to sixth, seventh and eighth graders. It is an introduction to United Synagogue Youth (USY). We enjoy the social aspect of the program and also strive for community service with an introduction to leadership.
As a Jewish youth group we aim to meet on a monthly basis locally to connect with the Jewish friends we may not have the opportunity to see at school. We also strive to be a part of the Kadima regional program in the New York Metropolitan area (METNY) through shabbatonim and other social events. We have a great time enjoying activities either at Temple Sinai or the various places around the area and traveling to other synagogue communities. Some of our activities:
Bowling, Rollerskating, Movies, Miniature Golf, Horseback Riding, Snow Tubing/Skiing, Baseball Games, Dance, And much, much more…….
We welcome new members!!!
If you have any questions regarding Kadima or how to join, please feel free to call Laurel Pavilack, Kadima Advisor: 845-355-7205 or contact the temple office 914-443-3460.
